Our story
Makhana, the way we grew up with it.
We pack what we would put on our own table.
In Mithila, makhana still comes out of ponds. Families gather the seeds, dry them in the sun, and pop them by hand. It has been in those kitchens for generations — for fasting days, for kheer, and for a handful with evening tea.
Pearl Makhana is that same makhana, packed so you can keep it at home. We stay close to the people who grow it, and we don’t dress it up to taste like a chip. If the crunch isn’t right, it doesn’t leave us.
